This report summarizes opportunities and barriers to more effective wildfire risk management on ranching properties in the Cariboo. It documents consultation conducted through site visits and workshops that gathered information about fuels management near high-value areas and structural protection in the event of wildfires. Barriers and opportunities and next steps were identified. This work informed the creation of the Farm/Ranch Wildfire Plan guide and workbook. It also led to work that assessed opportunities for fuel management in the agricultural-wildland interface.
